The S&P 500 settled higher on Tuesday, as investors digested the recent inflation data.
The annual inflation rate in the US eased to 6% in February, the lowest level since September 2021, in line with market expectations, and versus 6.4% in the previous month.
U.S. stocks traded higher toward the end of trading, with the Nasdaq Composite gaining over 1.5% on Tuesday.
The Dow traded up 0.40% to 31,945.39 while the NASDAQ rose 1.58% to 11,365.53. The S&P 500, also rose, gaining, 1% to 3,894.65.

The Dow traded up 1.30% to 32,234.35 while the NASDAQ rose 2.07% to 11,421.23. The S&P 500, also rose, gaining, 1.85% to 3,927.19.
U.S. stocks traded higher this morning, with the Dow Jones gaining more than 300 points on Tuesday.
Following the market opening Tuesday, the Dow traded up 1.03% to 32,145.42 while the NASDAQ rose 1.78% to 11,388.42. The S&P 500, also rose, gaining, 1.51% to 3,913.80.
Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) traded sharply higher, with the cryptocurrency prices surging above the key $26,000 level on Tuesday.
Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) also moved higher, trading above to the $1,700 mark this morning.
