Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) vehicles regularly receive free over-the-air software updates. These can include safety or efficiency improvements, or just add something fun like new games or a fart noise to the turn signal.
Every year, Tesla releases a holiday update with many new fun and customer requested features.
Tesla’s 2022 Holiday update has started to roll out to customers, and these are the new features that are included.

- Apple Music
- Use in cabin camera during dog mode
- Schedule a light show (the car dances) up to 10 minutes in advance
- Climate fan speed can be adjusted even while climate is set to auto
- MyQ garage connectivity support
- Auto turn signals that can turn off automatically after completing a lane change
- The game Mahjong
- Improvements to the phone call experience
- Media controls are moved closer to the driver
- Emissions testing mode (fart sounds) triggered via smartphone app
- Always enable rainbow animation when autopilot is active
- Track mode for Performance Model Y
These types of updates come free to Tesla customers, and are able to be downloaded to their car at home.
