Amazon Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) released a new Super Bowl commercial featuring a dog that gets the most surprising gift — and it will definitely melt viewers’ hearts.

What Happened: Amazon’s latest commercial features a family of four humans with a dog. The video appears to show a time during the COVID-19 pandemic when everyone was at home and the dog was happy — but things changed when humans started returning to their pre-pandemic routine.

Naturally, the dog retaliates in the only way he knows and tears up their house every day — making it clear that he feels alone at home without them. The family appears to love the dog, but his daily shenanigans — chewing the TV remote, tearing up pillows and breaking a lamp — force them to take a drastic step.

The dog watches his human family looking up a dog kennel on Amazon.com and thinks the worse — or at least that’s what viewers feel after watching the video. However, they brought him a new friend — another dog — so he won’t be lonely.

At the time of writing, the 90-second video had garnered 42K views on YouTube.
